and fashion model, but she is also a management consultant, IT
project manager, business analyst, publicist, marketing and media
relations specialist and freelance gospel journalist.
Kathy has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry
and continues to build an impressive resume with each event and
activity. For three years, she wrote articles and conducted artist
interviews for Gospelcity.com, one of Gospel music’s leading online
ezine. She has interviewed lengendary artists... Andrae Crouch,
Bishop Clarence McClendon, Shirley Caesar, BeBe Winans, CeCe
Winans and Yolanda Adams.
As a self-managed, self-booked and self-publicized artist, Kathy was
successful in guiding her musical career to perform at events with major
Gospel and Secular Artists such as Commissioned, Vickie Winans, Carmen, Mary Mary, James Brown, Ray Charles performed for actress Denise Nicholas, former NYC Mayor David Dinkins, Percy Sutton (former owner of the Apollo Theatre), Pierce Sutton (owner of WBLS Radio) and U.S. Congressman Charles Rangle at the Malcolm X family event; Hollywood actors Danny Glover, Michael Beach, Loretta Devine, Cheryl Lee Ralph and others were in attendance at the Black Aids Institute Awards in Los Angeles, where Kathy performed on stage with Gospel great Tata Vega, R&B crooner Tony Terry and jazz great Barbara Mason; Stellar award winning Gospel Diva Dottie Peoples, Vickie Winans and the legendary Andrae Crouch were on hand at the Bobby Jones International Gospel Industry Retreat.
Kathy has founded two companies – Granted Productions, her production, artist management and consulting firm, in addition to KGM Enterprises, the umbrella organization under which all Kathy’s activities including Granted Productions, the CGMC Conference, all book publications, major marketing ventures, public speaking and philanthropic activities will be supported.
Formerly employed in communications and marketing for an aeronautical and space engineering firm, Kathy was responsible for corporate communications, communications design and planning.
Kathy brings her extensive communications experience as both an artist in the gospel music industry and a seasoned professional to this role.
